History

Cupeyville School was founded by González-Pagán family as an early childhood institution in 1963. Located on six and half (6 l/2) acres in the Cupey area on the outskirts of San Juan, it responded to the needs of a growing suburban community interested in a bilingual, co-educational learning program. From a Pre-School of 100 students to a College-Preparatory facility, Cupeyville School has since been providing academic excellence. 

Our School

Cupeyville School is a quality English-instruction college-preparatory from PPK to 12th grade. Founded by the González-Pagán family as an early childhood institution in 1963 it has since been providing academic excellence. Cupeyville School is a non-sectarian and co-educational school with a multicultural student community. Ranked among Puerto Rico’s Top English teaching private schools, Cupeyville School’s student population is approximately 900 students and employs a combined faculty and administrative staff of approximately 125 members. 

Cupeyville School recognizes the multiple learning styles and needs of its students, thereby offering Regular, Honors and Advanced Placement curriculum as well as an integrated Bridges Program for students with mild learning disabilities.

Accreditations

Cupeyville School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the Comisión Acreditadora de Instituciones Educativas (CADIE), and is licensed to operate by the Department of State of Puerto Rico.
