Fine Arts and Foreign Languages

Cupeyville School continuously strives to promote the Fine Arts as part of our students' curriculum, for we know that they foster better child development and higher student achievement. The Pre-School and Elementary levels promote Visual Arts as part of their curricula. Students at this level also participate in several special activities, such as Peace Day, Global Awareness Month and Fiesta De Pueblo, among others in which students can express their creativity and individuality. At the High School level, students can further explore their creative self-expressions with Music, Drama and Mosaic classes. High School students may also experience the arts through events such as, Theater Productions, Spirit Week, Talent Show and Live at the AV.

Learning a Foreign Language improves cognitive brain functions. Starting in 9th grade, High School students are required to take a Foreign Language as part of their student program. They may choose between French or Italian and will take the selected language for the following 4 years until graduation.
